George Pagnini Ganzo with "Down"

Giorgio PagniniGanzo, school restaurant and experiential educational workshop in Via dei Macci 85 / r host until 14 April, the exhibition of photographs taken by George Pagnini, entitled "Down".

The exposure is visible from 12 at 24.

Pagnini, he graduated in architecture in Florence where he lives and works.

Born in Sardinia, but spent his childhood and adolescence in a small town in the Marche which certainly has a great influence on his life style and also and especially on his understanding of the photograph, "Downwards".

A highlight small seemingly insignificant details, but that only those who can dwell on the small images can then be traced to large and comprehensive, more general.

Each photograph reveals facets not recognizable at first sight: small cracks in the floor, traces of tools found at the beach.

"To see better must look back down not as negative choice or fallback, but as a condition of reflection to examine large and small 'stories' that have left traces in the place and time in which they were educated ".

George Pagnini was certainly influenced by the thinking of the famous Norwegian architect Christian Norberg Schulz, author of "Genius Loci, towards a phenomenology of architecture ", but has its own intellectual autonomy alive, the precise contours.

I suoi viaggi di cui si è appassionato sono quelli di un viaggiatore attento ai particolari che legano le persone ai luoghi, those in which you can look down to find out much and much of life.

The exhibition is curated by Julia Ennis, Alyssa Severe, Jaqueline Krigbaum, Emily Junker, Michaela Bubier.
