"Florence unusual": lots of news and events until January

Explore the city outside the usual routes, strolling, stopping to visit lesser known buildings, participating in workshops for young and old, visiting craft shops, è quello che propone fino al prossimo 8 December, the new edition of "Unusual Florence" , the initiative organized by the Cultural Commission of the District 1 and aimed at knowledge of Florence through the arts and culture.

The cover of the wide program this year represents a floor trampled by thousands of people every year: the projection on the ground of one of the world's most famous domes, Brunelleschi's dome in the Santa Maria del Fiore, the Duomo.

“Florence – say the Presidents of the District 1 and Culture Commission, Maurizio Sguanci e Mirco Rufilli - è già insolita di per sé, a city with a small historic center that houses a priceless cultural and artistic heritage, and it is in every corner, in every way, in ogni palazzo che possa raccontare una storia diversa, unknown anecdotes and able to help us discover, from a different perspective, a Florence never seen or otherwise unusual”.

The Song of the Mother. Theatrical reading poetry.

This "song" Mary is a narrative cyclical and eternal , proposes that in this memory of an experience never ended, an open hand that welcomes and embraces the future of men.
