The visual imagery of Sixty

It opens Saturday 13 December at 15.30, Academy of Fine Arts in Florence, Via Ricasoli 66, la mostra “L’immaginario visuale del Sessantotto oggi”, result of recent internship that involved students of the Florentine, under the guidance of Prof. Tommaso Tozzi Academy and Prof. Adriana Dadà center of political and social studies historical "Sixty-eight" in Florence.

Starting with posters and other material iconographic archive "Sixty-eight", were examined communication strategies, political content, the tools and methods of communication of that period.

The second step was to develop proposals and graphics similar themes, updating them with the feel and the ability to communicate today.

Are born posters, videos, multimedia installations and a workshop open to children and adults in the room Ghiberti Academy join posters, documents and objects original period, allowing visitors to reflect on the changes produced in that season of political and social movements so long and fruitful in Italy and wonder about the possibility of similar changes achievable today.

Inauguration Saturday 13 December will participate Prof. William Gambetta of the Research Center of the Movements of Parma, presentation of the book "The walls of the long 68".

The exhibition includes works of students Valentina Ciani, Giorgia Giacomini, Giulia Giovannoni, Yumiko Kido, Satoshi Mori, Elisa Rollo, Stefania Venuti, Elena Veronesi.

You can visit the exhibition Monday 15 from hours 10 a 18 and Tuesday 16 from hours 9 at 13.
