Show on Michelangelo until 28 December

Mostra MichelangeloClose with the exhibition "The immortality of a myth - The legacy of Michelangelo in the arts and teaching academics in Florence from the sixteenth century to the contemporary" celebrations for the anniversary of the founding 450mo Academy of Art and Design and the death of Michelangelo Buonarroti, that the centuries-old Florentine institution was the first academic.

The actuality of the myth and its persistence turn out in the last section, which displays tutorials for students of the School of Painting, led by Professor Adriano Bimbi, in front of the marble of the New Sacristy, and new medals Michelangelo created by the students of the School of Sculpture, with the direction of the teachers Stefano and Francesca Patti Taliani. Along with these works is also an engraving of a student of Laura Zanobini, professor of engraving techniques.
