9 November: back on the Sunday of the Florentine

The 9 November, the event provides an extremely rich for young and old Florentine Civic Museums: Palazzo Vecchio will be proposed to the usual visits to the 'Traces of Florence', the Monumental Quarters, the 'Secret Passages' and Archaeological excavations but also the path' 'Led by Giorgio Vasari', the workshop 'Florence my city' and activities for children 'To make a city it takes a flower'.

In the other Civic Museums offer includes proposals for adults (visits to the Foundation Romano, Novecento Museum, the complex of Santa Maria Novella, alle Murate) and families with 'Discovering Santa Maria Novella', Tactile books, 'Time Machine' and 'Opera art totale'.

There were also, come consuetudine, free guided tours at the Museum of Mercy in Cathedral Square (hours by appointment 15.15 and 16.30 – tel. 055-239393).

The Fondazione Palazzo Strozzi adheres to the day by proposing to 15.30 a special visit to the installation art 'Who does not like looking at the sky?'Franco Menicagli, exhibited in the courtyard of Palazzo Strozzi (reservations required).

Also note that for all tours and activities booking is mandatory, as well as access to the Tower of Arnolfo (inputs in each half-hour time 10/17, last access time 16.30) and the Brancacci Chapel in Santa Maria del Carmine (inputs every thirty minutes in time 13.15/16.45, last access time 16.15).
