Increased tourist tax, De Ria: "We can not put off so tourists"

"Download tourists on budget cuts is a short-sighted policy". Jacopo De Ria, President of Confcommercio Florence, intervenes in these words about the increase of 50 cents of the tourist tax.

"I would like to remind our administrators that the city depends on Tourism. But a move like this will only end with the discouraging people to come to Florence and this will have a negative impact on the entire economy of the city ".

More than acceptable position of De Ria, which concludes: "For a family of three to four people the bill eventually will be salted. Do not be surprised if at the end of some foreign markets prefer to fall back on other destinations ".
