Cat show at the Fortezza da Basso

Florence summons cat lovers and fans of cat breeds red carpet.

Will not be the usual "44 cats" to crowd the Fortezza Da Basso next weekend, 6 and 7 December, for the International Exhibition Felina Florence, organized by Worldcats, that will bring the shadow of the dome of many rare and beautiful races.

An event that is being held entirely of love and passion for this wonderful domestic feline and will offer visitors the opportunity to admire the Carthusians, Exotics, Siamese, Birman and many other beautiful specimens.

There will be over 500 cats, accompanying their owners, will arrive in the city from all over Italy but also from Switzerland, Poland, Austria, Spain and France, to participate in the International Championships and European Beauty.

Among the races that you can admire there will be the famous Carthusian (cats monasteries French Chartreux), Russian Blue (cats of the Tsars), i Bengal (with the fabulous leopard coat) the Sphinx (cats naked, hairless), i Maine Coons (American giants) and yet the Norwegian Forest, and Ragdolls, the Persians, the Exotic, the Siamese and Orientals, plus some cute and cuddly house cats, which will be given a special race.

Among the many races on the program there will be one on Saturday dedicated to Birman, also called cats with gloves for their white feet, and that of Sunday for the British, cats of the English court.

Visitors will be able to see and applaud the two splendid races that will be paraded several times on stage.

The "Main Sponsor Trainer" and the Organizing Committee will award the trophy custom Persian White, Persian Brown, the Exotic Black, the Russian Blue, the Norwegian, the British and the Sacrodi Burma, that last October in Prague were awarded the title of World Champions "World Winner 2014" in their category, taking the honor of the Italian flag.

In the afternoon there will be the Best in Show with the choice of the best actors ever and the three winners in the categories Best Adults, Best Puppies, Best Neuter.

The winners such glory, gold medals, cups, rosettes and obviously many tasty kibbles.

Will be nine international judges qualified judge cats according to world standards of race, set by Fife, Federation Internationale Feline, to which the Anfi, National Association of Feline Italian, is affiliated.

Also in the two-day expo will be present at the stand of animal feed which you can pick up so many free samples while supplies last.

In conclusion, nice to see a show, instructive, involving not only fans of the sector, but also all animal lovers.

And for those with a passion for cats combines the goals for and needle, the same dates and in the same location will host the exhibition exchange of vintage cameras.
