Questi sono i cardini fondamentali del “Monastery of the Archangel”, un romanzo dai mille colori, treated with a firm hand and yet mild, and the many facets of the multifaceted aspects.

Il romanzo di Rosalba Bavastrelli ruota intorno alle vicende di Erik, young architect discouraged and almost cynical, whose task is to rebuild, together with a group of restorers, part of the ancient monastery still in use.

And in the shadow of the monastery, in a village seeming and gloomily sleepy, but the hidden plots, in a swirl of different situations, will change the lives of all its thanks to the arrival of "foreigners", that will light the hypocrisy and suffering, also healing from the wounds of her past.

As you scroll through the reading, what is surprising is the very figure of the wolf, sometimes almost like essence protector or clarifying, Erik helps us to understand himself, to deal with others and perhaps even to find again the joy of living.

The nature is not deified, but God exalts itself, how those monks full of humanity and faith that help to overcome the traumatic events sometimes harsh and that Permian history.

The author, however, is never harsh in dealing with strong themes, but balance them with the same poem which describes the places.

A cool story, a story that is Adventure, drama, yellow and introspection ...

A special meeting, as that of the protagonist with the wolf, which remains at the heart!
