Mother Mary Agnes Tribbioli towards the cause of beatification

Madre Maria Agnese TribbioliThe 27 February 1965 Mother Mary Agnes Tribbioli died in Florence, where he was born 20 April 1879.

Professed religious and founder of the "Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph the Worker Pie", now present in various regions of Italy, in India, Brazil and Romania, Mother Tribbioli had at heart the evangelization and service of the poor and marginalized.

Especially remembered is his work in 1944 in favor of the displaced and persecuted the Jews as a result of the racial laws, coming into hiding in the cellars of the Motherhouse of Via de 'Serragli in Florence.

For its action of defense of the Jews, the Yad Vashem Institute in Jerusalem, for the memory of the Holocaust, the 15 September 2009 has determined that the name of Mother Mary Agnes Tribbioli was listed as "Righteous among the Nations".

The Cardinal Archbishop of Florence, Mons. Giuseppe Betori, having been formally requested to open the cause of beatification of Mother Mary Agnes Tribbioli, after pondering what it takes about the fame of holiness and having consulted the Brothers Bishops of Tuscany, in informing the ecclesial community, invites all the faithful to communicate directly or submit in writing to the Archbishop's Delegate for the Causes of Saints, at the Archbishopric (Piazza San Giovanni, 3 – 50123 Florence), Further useful information, especially if they can also only infer the existence of some evidence that is contrary to the fame of holiness of that Candidate or some obstacle that stands in the way to the same cause, over writings attributed to the mother Tribbioli.
