"Lands of cribs": a path of 70 km that crosses Tuscany

There were over 100 thousand, in past years, visitors of 10 Cribs that this year have created a network called "Lands of Cribs".

A figure that the organizers hope to grow, thanks to the long path 70 kilometers stretching from Nativity of Netherlands, in Florence, the "street of cribs" Castelfiorentino, passing through San Pietro a Lecore, Cigoli, La Scala, Montignoso, Montopoli Val d'Arno, Nicosia of Calci, Petroio, San Miniato, San Miniato Basso, San Romano, Usignano Lari.

The network was born from the desire of the crèche of Tuscan towns to collaborate and work together to promote a path for visitors every Christmas reach many of these areas.

"There are families, but also from public and private schools, parishes who come each year to see our Cribs ", spiegano gli organizzatori.

The network includes nativity scenes of all kinds: there is that "meditative" of Lecore, one fully mechanized Bass, is the one with human size statues of San Miniato, the masonry of Petroio, the technology of Cigoli, miniature ones Usigliano, up to a path like that of Castelfiorentino where Cribs, scattered throughout the historic center, are over 60.

Many of these nativity scenes remain open to visitors throughout the month of January, well then the feast of the Epiphany / Befana.
