"Hearts crazy" at the Theater of Predieri basket

CUORI MATTI manifestoAl Teatro basket on stage until 11 January the comedy "Hearts crazy", show written and directed by Marco Predieri, a fresh comedy, insistent tones, where you laugh out loud, but also reflects on the real situations of life.

Marco Predieri, who divides his professional career in the entertainment world, and that of journalism, wrote what he calls “a story today”, with only four actors on stage - Patrizia Ficini, Eleonora Cappelletti, Stefano Carotenuto and the same Predieri, that gives us a striptease that already applies to the ticket price paid, if only for the pants purple… - between elderly “out of my head”, the beautiful turn of struggling with the married lover, the friend of the heart that really loves, unrequited beautiful, and the co-tenant gay, just to keep “cheerful”, the situation.

A comedy, with moments of high comedy, as evidenced by the laughter of the audience, and that, strong success with audiences and critics in the past season, faces the basket his first national tour.

The Company sets out on his journey to Italy from the basket to make a tribute to Manuelita Baylon, the actress disappeared last March, and for which Marco Predieri, originally written comedy, but that failed to interpret because of the illness that has torn the scenes Florentine.

"Hearts crazy - Marco confesses Predieri – is my first play by author, or better, the first that was staged, because there is also something in the drawer before and knows that tomorrow I decide to take it back in the hands ... Meanwhile I'm also working on a new script already scheduled for next spring. Undoubtedly it was exciting to see my words, the story that I conceived, come to life on stage and even more listening rations of the public record and the consent, which was repeated constant for all replicas and squares faced last season. Today we take the show with a new graft, Stefano Carotenuto, nephew of art by Mario and Memmo Carotenuto, in the role of Enzo, because the way it has given to me and to my colleagues to work further on the text, discovering new and somewhat unexpected facets that have surprised even me. Besides writing you realize perfectly how the characters take on a life of its own and you understand the words of Pirandello, when he asserts that they are themselves to express the urgency to tell their stories, almost that the author of it is merely a means of ".

"In this show we laugh a lot, is a crescendo of comic situations, behind which lurks, however, a deep humanity that at some point emerges strongly, right in the height of the action, displacing nearly the public. In short, there are twists and turns in unexpected directions that are also capable to excite, touching the innermost chords and instinctive spectator. The start was a cue autobiographical, albeit fictional, and if we are also quite naive, or the story between me and my ex-girlfriend who remained a dear friend today and which still love you very much, but then were the characters that I had initially thought to be secondary to take the brunt, with their uninhibited personalities and their stories, up to rise to the role of real players.

"Starting from the Theatre of basket – He emphasizes Marco – is an immense joy and a need strongly affective, not only because in this beautiful space Oltrarno, full of stories and lives, a real living room of our city, I was born and grew artistically, with Oreste Pelagatti and Marcello Ancillotti, but also because here I met Manuelita Baylon and here again until a year ago, she taught our theater to his boys. For Manuelita I wrote this play with her and I started this path. Go home, because for me the basket will always be my first home in art, is to make a just and grateful tribute to her and to my personal history and start from here to then turn Italy with this my first play will not only be a good omen, but an actual motion of encouragement that I give myself and that I hope will supported by a new affectionate embrace of the public ".
